The end

It's been a long time but it's not over. It's not the end. Everything ends. Relationships, jobs, careers, skills, desire, space , the edge of a table and lastly our lives. Anything that's alive on this planet and that you know will all be dust and dead in 100 years. From infinite nothingness to BEING again to nothingness for all of infinity. That's a long time between here and there but our lives are so short. All of that nothingness punctuated by our brief little spot under the sun. It's better to enjoy it one presumes. As of today the interstellar traveler is at the edge of our heliosphere, 17 and a half billion kilometers from earth. From home. Where is your home? What does it mean to you? Is it the place that you are comfortable? The place where you keep your stuff? What does it mean to feel at home? Life is short, cruel and brutish if you take a Hobbesian point of view. It can certainly be that and we often choose, correctly, to ignore those observations and instead look inward and to the things in life that make us feel comfortable, at home. Enjoying a beautiful evening with loved ones laughing and well sated is the essence of our existence. In the long run that is all that matters. Enjoy it while you can. ! :) !

Believe it still said...

to me...there is another plane of existence that has no beginning or end..and to live selflessly is to really be human...to deny humanity a goal..otherwise our life is nothing and empty..instead of empty and something
